When De La Soul dropped “3 Feet High and Rising” hip hop was dipping it’s toes into gangsta rap and more militant political styles. De La Soul turned the rap game on it’s head with a skit heavy album produced by Prince Paul. To this day, this album is considered a hip hop classic and if you haven’t heard it in a while or at all, give it a stream.
