UNEXPECTED LIFE

Let me give you heads up on this one. These hacks are not for everybody. They’re a lot fun though if you dare to try them! 😉
If you have couple of dirty greasy frying pans in your kitchen. They’re so greasy you can’t use your own hands. Well, no problem! Use a drill instead.

Take a binder, screw a nail in it, put a kitchen sponge in the binder, screw the nail part into a drill. Here we go your cleaning tool is ready to work!

Another nasty task is to clean a toilet. But somebody has to do it, right? Why not make this allegedly the hardest part of the chores one of the most fun ones?! I see no reason!

Simply grab your drill, put a bottle brush in, pour some Cola in, сlean the toilet with the drill and flush.

It’s Possible to Drill a Key Ring Hole Into Apple’s AirTags

[ad_1]

One of the first things that jumped out to me when I saw Apple’s long-awaited AirTags was their surface, which reminds me of a giant, polished M&M. Like real M&Ms, AirTags don’t have any holes, which means that you have to buy AirTag accessories to hook the device to your keys or hang it on your purse. However, although Apple did not include a key ring hole in the AirTags, you can apparently make one yourself without messing them up too much.

In their teardown of the AirTag published on Saturday, the folks over at iFixit decided to test whether it was possible to drill a key ring hole into the device, a noble service for those who don’t want to shell out the extra cash for accessories and are willing to take the risk of destroying the thing. If this sounds like you, you’ll need a 1/16” drill bit, according to iFixit.

Before wielding your drill, the first thing you have to do is remove the battery. The key lies in locating and successfully drilling through one of the three notches, which you can see clearly over at iFixit, in the AirTag’s circuit board and antenna shield. The notches are made for the clips that hold the AirTag together. (Remember, although AirTag batteries last more than a year without charging, they can be replaced by pulling off the back of the device).

iFixit notes that the location of the notches “roughly” corresponds to that of the clips for the metal battery cover, which means they can serve as a guide. Now, you want to drill through the notch, not through the clip itself. But should you have bad luck, doing this purportedly won’t kill your AirTag.

In the case that you are successful (and we hope that you are, because who wants to throw money away), iFixit states that the AirTag should work “as if nothing happened.” The device’s speaker, which it uses to emit chimes to help you find it if you lose it or inform others that there’s a lost AirTag nearby, was hardly affected.

There is a price to pay for saving a few bucks, though. iFixit states that if you drill a hole in your AirTag, you shouldn’t expect it to remain waterproof and dust resistant. Meanwhile, MacRumors points out that this will undoubtedly void Apple’s warranty.

In the end, those of you searching for your drill have a decision to make. Is it worth taking a risk when there are accessories available for $12.95 or less? The waterproof thing also worries me, mainly because I’ve had to open my door in the rain. Alas, it is a choice each one of us must make. May luck be on your side.

25 Absolutely Cool Party Hacks

25 ABSOLUTELY COOL PARTY HACKS

COOL PARTY HACKS

This video is all about the watermelon! My favorite party treat. It’s so beneficial for our kidneys and liver. In a nutshell, watermelon is the best detox berry possible! And we had so much fun shooting these hacks, I can’t wait for you to see it! And of course try them out at your open air parties! ; )

If you’re into exotic stuff, you’re definitely gonna like this one. I call it ‘ Colamelon ‘. Take 2 bottles of Coca-Cola, take off the lid and cut out 2 holes in the watermelon in the form of these lids. Now take out these slices and put Coke bottles upside down, so that the liquid poured down into a pulp. Cut as usual. Your Colamelon is ready to be eaten!

The most fun hack of all is watermelon bomb. I bet you only saw such explosions in action movies! Now you can do it yourself! All you need is a big watermelon, 230 rubber bands and your BFF. Dress up the watermelon in the rubber bands together with your friend. Be careful after 210th round it may explode unexpectedly! ; )

Did you know you can make a flute with a carrot! Wait what? You heard me! All you have to do is cut it in the right places. Then get a party started!

You will need:
A drill and bits to make a large and small hole. A 1/2″ drill bit and a 15/64″ bit worked for me.
Sharp knife
1 or more carrots
Cutting board
Long, narrow tools to take carrot debris out of the hole. E.g. skewer or chopstick.

Using the sharp knife, cut the carrot top off of the carrot. This provides a flat surface that you will drill into.
Using the 1/2″ drill bit, drill a hole that starts at the flat surface of the carrot that you just made, and goes along the length of the carrot. I went about 1/3 of the way into the carrot.
Take out all of the carrot bits, as they will prevent the sound from being clear and sharp. Use a skewer, chopstick, the bit, or anything you can find that will fit down the hole. I used a pen.
Hold the carrot in front of you with the carrot top side facing up. You will need to drill a hole, using the smaller bit, a bit down from the top of the carrot. I chose a spot that ended up being about an inch down the side. I’ve found that if you go too far down, the sound is not very good.

You may want to blow down the various holes and tap the carrot on the cutting board to ensure the debris is all removed.
Now you are ready to play! Have fun, make more, have each person play one and see what sounds you get!
