Today we have an amazing addition to the Topps Project70 series of baseball cards. Once again, 2 legends come together for one of the best cards in the series. Mike Piazza is known as one of the most recognizable baseball players in the history of the sport. During his stint with the New York Mets, his status would rise to epic levels.
Jeff Staple’s Staple Design Studio is a creative consulting firm that’s collabed with everyone including Nike, Microsoft, Sony, Lotus, Timberland, New Balance, and others. Staple Design also owns and operates Reed Space in the Lower East Side of New York City. Together these two entities resulted in a card that you should have if you’re a serious collector.

Darryl Strawberry was a legend since his debut in MLB both on and off the field. A charismatic and polarizing figure, Strawberry was launched into stardom and even had his own action figures with Kenner. Bobby Hundreds teamed up with his law school classmate and created The Hundreds which grew from a streetwear bands that rivaled the likes of Supreme, Diamond Supply and many other brands that cut their teeth on the sidewalks of Fairfax. Since then, Bobby and Ben have collabed with countless brands, including a Kevin Smith capsule earlier this year. Darryl Strawberry and Bobby Hundreds are legends in their own right. This card is a must have.

It’s only natural that these two are put together for another dope edition of the Topps Project70 series. You might recognize the card’s design from Snoop’s DeathRow Records debut, Doggy Style. This is a much have for collectors.

Today we have another dope edition to the Topps Project70 series. With a 20+ year career spanning both football and baseball, Deion Sanders firmly cemented himself as a legend in sports and entertainment culture. Don C, who was known as a close friend and collaborator of Kanye West also made himself a legend in the Hip Hop and fashion communities, with his amazing Nike collabs and exclusive capsule drops. In January 1995, Sanders became the official spokesman of the Sega Sports video games. Sanders has also appeared in television commercials for such companies as Nike, Pepsi, Burger King, Pizza Hut, and American Express. It’s not a surprise why Don C picked Deion Sanders as his card of choice. They both exude swag and determination.

Walker Buetane Buehler was drafted by the LA dodgers in 2015 and today he’s an MLB Champion and All Star. This card was released in limited number by Topps in March. The card itself was designed by sneaker champion Shoe Surgeon who previously designed and created a pair of dope Jordan 1 cleats for Walker, which were worn during a game in September of 2020.

The card itself was designed by self proclaimed renaissance man and legendary rapper and New York sports fan, Action Bronson. Bronson put his own personal touches to this Topps release by including a red Lamborghini Countach. Definitely a dope collectable I was happy to get my hands on.
